Today, we celebrate another milestone in our journey towards sustainable agriculture and community empowerment!

Origin Oils, in collaboration with Cimap CSIR, recently conducted a highly productive workshop aimed at nurturing the skills and knowledge of farmers interested in cultivating aromatic crops. Held in the tribal district of Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh, the event saw enthusiastic participation from local farmers eager to explore the potential of crops like lemongrass, palmarosa, spearmint, peppermint, sweet basil, and holy basil.

Under the visionary Aroma Mission led by Cimap CSIR, our joint initiative is providing essential technical guidance and planting materials to empower farmers in this region. Supported by the local administration and the Department of Agriculture and Horticulture and funding through MNREGA is ensuring that even marginal farmers can benefit from this endeavor.

As we enter the project’s second year, we are committed to building upon the strong foundation laid last year. Our focus is on introducing newer crop varieties to further diversify and enhance the livelihoods of farmers in Anuppur.

During the workshop, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Senior Principal Scientist at Cimap CSIR, emphasized the pivotal role of public-private partnerships in driving the success of such initiatives. He commended the dedication of the entire Origin Oils team in establishing industry and fostering growth in remote and tribal areas. Mr. Kumar expressed his anticipation for the continued expansion of our partnership, not only in Anuppur but also in other regions across the country, under the transformative Aroma Mission.
